If you are registering multiple bands, please register them separately (one grade at a time; not all at once). This allows us to collect unique information for each competing band should the information differ between grades within one organization.
The Dunedin Highland Games offers pipe band contests for Grades 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5! Our grades 1 and 2 contests offer both MSR and Medley events. Grade 3 is a Medley and Grade 4 is an MSR (odd day rules according to EUSPBA) and Grade 5 a Quick March Medley. All events are sanctioned by the EUSPBA.
Prizes
Grades 1 and 2 prizes are awarded to the overall grade winner (MSR + Medley)
- Grade 1 - $1,500/$1,200/$800
- Grade 2 - $1,000/$800/$600
- Grade 3 - $800/$500/$400
- Grade 4 - $500/$400/$300
- Grade 5 - $400/$300/$200
Friday Night Parade - March 31, 2023
- Dunedin Highland Games will host a parade in Downtown Dunedin featuring all bands that would like to participate.
- The first 10 bands registered and play in the parade will receive $300 each
- Money will be awarded with travel/prize money at the end of the games on Saturday
- Band line up is at 5:30pm EST on Friday and additional details will be emailed
- Register - you will have the option during the registration process to let us know if you'd like to participate
Travel
- The first 15 bands to register will be eligible for travel assistance based on one-way mileage to Highlander Park in Dunedin
- Bands must participate in competition, opening, and closing ceremonies to receive travel money. Separate grades of the band may be asked to march separately
- Bands are eligible for compensation as follows:
- 0 - 75 miles ($100)
- 76 - 150 miles ($150)
- 151 - 300 miles ($350)
- 301+ miles ($500)

Fees and Information
Entry fee is $65 (US) per event/band. Event registration will end on March 11, 2023 in order to allow enough time to prepare for a fantastic competition. No late entries or field entries will be allowed.
